Welcome
Thank you for visiting this website.
This site shares information about cats, focusing on daily care, habits, and culture—especially from a Japanese perspective.
The goal is to create a place where cat lovers around the world can learn from each other.
About Me
- Handle Name: neko-neko
- Location: Fukuoka, Japan
- Occupation: Office worker
- Living with: Two male cats (brothers, mixed breed, 11 years old as of November this year)
I live an ordinary life in Japan with my two cats.
They came into my life at the same time, but their personalities and preferences are completely different.
Through caring for them every day, I have learned many practical and realistic aspects of living with cats.
This site is built on those real experiences.
Why I Write in English
I cannot speak English fluently.
However, by using translation tools and AI proofreading, I share information in English so that people around the world can read it.
There are two reasons for this:
- I want people outside Japan to know about Japanese cat culture
- I want to learn about cat cultures from countries I have never visited
This website is not only for sharing information, but also for connecting different perspectives about cats.
About Japanese Cat Culture
In Japan, cats are more than just pets.
They have influenced many parts of culture, including:
- Anime
- Games
- Cosplay
- KAWAII culture
These cultural elements have spread globally, and cats are often at the center of them.
I believe Japanese cat culture has become a small but meaningful global trend.
